I have been going to St. Louis Bread Co. for years and have usually had a good experience with the food and staff. However, after visiting the South County location recently I was dissatisfied with both. I try to get different things just to be adventurous, and this time I got the Thai inspired chicken salad... I thought that it was horrible. Not only were the vegetables and lettuce quite wilted, but the flavors were WAY off. The dressing was too spicy for a deli salad and did not go with the other ingredients at all. \r

Not only the food, but the service... I have a Panera rewards card which I forgot to tell the cashier at first. Then in the middle of the transaction I remembered. I told her and she just looked at me like ""you have got to be kidding"". I just said nevermind and she never said another word to me. Not very good service if you ask me! I was not extremely satisfied at this particular visit.
