Review content:
I paid for a full examination and received my prescription on paper. They made a second appointment for me to get my contact lenses. The price they quoted me was outrageous. $200 +. So I canceled my appointment when I found a deal on-line for a fraction of the cost. I inputted my LensCrafters prescription info and it was approved. When I returned to reorder more contact lenses several months later (but within a year of examination), LensCrafters denied my prescription claiming that I hadn't finished the final exam. How many damn exams do you need? Clearly they are making it difficult for me to use another vendor. When I scheduled the second exam, they wanted to charge me $25 because I waited 6 months. I complained to corporate who finagled a free exam, but I had moved in the meantime and this location was 45 minutes away. I stopped in one day while passing by and they didn't have time for me. During all of this unpleasantness, this woman with a tight smile and a condescending tone at the location kept making me feel like I was panhandling for my contact lenses. As if I should feel lucky to be in your crappy store, with overpriced merchandise in a mall! THANKS! I reported them to the Better Biz B. They don't honor a prescription I have fully paid for with paper documentation. THIEVES! Pros: helps you appreciate on-line shopping Cons: value, nasty staff, don't honor prescriptions paid for within the year
