Love the store, selections and environment....not too sure about the integrity of the some of the staff when it comes to sales and specifics of the products. I can understand as a buyer being naive about certain things, however I would hope that even in aspects of getting a sale the person selling can be upfront about whats being sold. \r \r Example; we purchased a sealed MtG deckbox that included the matching sleeves for less than $20 that was apparently some promotional bundle that had a sealed insert to ""Enter for a chance to win MtG: RARE Power 9 Gaming Cards!"". Cool eh? Well the store clerk really worked the sale and idea by insisting to buy the full bundle based on the included contest incentive vs a couple of sleeve packs and a separate deckbox and the price of the bundle vs separate sleeves and deckbox is about the same but regardless, we bought the bundle based on the hype the store clerk pushed so we bought the bundle got home and opened it (no didnt open it in store, didnt think was a need to at the time based on why it was bought) and to our demise, the contest was apparently one that UltraPro launched from 2008 and was long since expired???? \r \r Now you would think that the store rep(s) who seem extremely knowledgable in the cards and all would have already known this (maybe they knew or maybe they didnt) but regardless is it our fault for not knowing this contest was already over? Was the store rep just trying to clear out older inventory and took advantage of the fact of that 1% of our not knowing? We sure didnt go in there with the ""buyer beware"" attitude as we have shopped there before and used their store for items, playing cards etc and felt comfortable in being able to utitlize their business and rely on them for honesty vs reproach in their sales and advice. \r \r Folks, this is a comics/cards/collectibles store and we are not shopping at a used car lot so I would hope in the collective mindset of ""nerds"" (yes I am one) and such we all try to help one another, so again...love the store, selections and environment, not so sure can trust some of the staff anymore when it comes to sales/product advice. Anyhow, my $0.02.
