Review content:
My girlfriend took me to Tomo?s and I had a very pleasant experience. Since I am not a big sushi eater, I greatly enjoyed the Robata Grill where they cooked vegetables and meat on the grill. It was like eating BBQ food but better! And it was cool that they had draft beers because I don?t think many Japanese restaurants have that. I never knew how good Japanese beers (Sapporo and Kirin) were. I enjoyed my time there because although the restaurant was busy the waitresses and the chefs (open kitchen) were very welcoming and kind. They even spent some time explaining their 6th year anniversary sweepstakes. They were saying how they had this competition going that is going to end on Thanksgiving Day where the first prize wins a Wild Horse Ranch Membership worth thousands of dollars, 2nd prize wins a $250 Tomo gift certificate, and much more like bottle of expensive sake, Warrior tickets, etc. I am definitely going back there again and again! Hands down the best Japanese restaurant in the Bay Area. I know because my gf drags me to all the Japanese restaurants!
Pros: authentic food, kind workers, relaxing, open kitchen, woman sushi cook!
Cons: none!
