Review content:
I am a huge sushi fan, and if you are in the east bay, Tomo is the place to go. There are a few others around, but Tomo's fish is so fresh, the service is outstanding and the place is small enough that you don't feel lost in the crowd. Nigiri and sashimi are wonderful, especially the white tuna and yellowtail. And, the rolls are huge, but not all rice - just the right amount - try the spider roll and the Pleasanton roll. I travel to this area several times of the year for work, and I always make it to Tomo. They just added beer on tap to their menu as well as many new rolls. Pros: Excellent, fresh sushi and wonderful service. Cons: The secret is out - the place is small so you may have to wait for a table or a seat at the sushi bar.
