I've been to a few gun shops in the area and was extremely pleased with my shooting experience at the Marksman. The staff was courteous and knowledgeable, and safety was priority 1 for them. Not having shot there before, I was required to take a range ""safety"" orientation. I was the only female in a room with at least 4 other customers. Some of them were reluctant about taking the orientation because they feel they have shot many times before, and that they know everything about guns. Being knowledgeable about guns doesn't always mean you are safety conscious. I appreciated the fact that the staff reviewed the range rules, which increased my comfort level about going out on the range. I would not hesitate to refer this shop to my family and friends, and I will definitely come back to shoot. For mother's day, I bought myself a nice pistol!
