I actually like the atmosphere in Dr. Beatty's office. The nurses are very nice and the front desk ladies are very helpful and kind. Its the doc who seems to not put forth any effort in getting to know the patient, what is going on with her, her concerns and so forth. I went for my third visit with him today and it just confirmed what I already knew would happen. He was in and out of my room in less than 4 minutes, did not even say anything about the cramping and spotting I have been having (the nurse charted this in my file just a few minutes before and seemed very concerned) and did not even perform the pap that I was specially set up for today. It feels to me as if he just wants to get the visit over with as fast as possible so that he can move on to the next patient. I guess having Tenncare puts us at a lower level of importance on the doctors priority list. I cant help but wonder how I might be treated if I went in with something other than government insurance.\r Otherwise, the office is like any other, the staff and nurses are very pleasant, but if you dont want a doc who spends NO time with you and seems to get irritated if you ask too many questions, then I just cannot recommend Dr. Brian Beatty. Pros: Wonderful office staff and nurses, easy access inside Hospital Cons: Doctor rushes, spends no time getting to know the patient
