We found Handyman Matters through Angies List and they were rated well, so we had them come out to estimate work that needed to be done. This is the only Handyman Service that would not hem and haw fishing for a large remodeling project, rather they got to work right away fixing a lot of small things that we had been wanting fixed for a long time. One of the issues we had concern about were the windows, we had estimates to replace them but thought to give a last minute try to repair them. They did, saving us $1500 in replacement costs. Our tech was very helpful, he kept going and going, we just supplied the material, he wrote the lists. He worked through each day knocking out projects. He installed closet hangers, repaired storage units, repaired a kitchen countertop, repaired cabinet drawers to save on remodeling costs, re=tiled part of the bathroom and installed a dishwasher among many other items. The service was dependable and trustworthy, they came when they said they would and did not charge extra for any commute time which they thought unnecesary. All in all it was a very good experience, my husband and I would recommend them to anyone who wants to save money in these difficult economic times by repairing instead of remodeling. Great job Handyman Matters of Columbia!
