Review content:
For us, fun starts when we enter and discover the beautiful, and sometimes whimsical, decor that changes with the season and holiday. We munch on peapods, while we pick our sushi or goyoza appetizers. The goyoza are similar to pot stickers, but with a more delicate wrapping are my favorite. The creative and fresh sushi often comes in wooden boats with colorful decorations. I like the white tuna and ebi, my wife prefers the tasty hamachi and maki. For our main meal, we like the fragrant shabu-shabu and sukiyaki (Japanese stews). Our other favorites include shrimp tempura and salmon teriyaki. These are served with the traditional miso soup, salad, and those wonderful Japanese pickles. As if this was not enough, we are often surprised with a sample of some unique sushi creation. Miraku is a warm, friendly, wonderful place with the best Japanese food in the East Bay.
Pros: Food Presentation, Ambiance, Sushi Variety
Cons: Parking
