Initially, I was pretty impressed by the detailed website and choices offered at Flowers by Billy. I moved away from NC a few years ago but my parents still live there so I thought I'd give a local place some business by ordering a Mother's Day arrangement from here. Big mistake. Not only did they void my order that day ""because there were too many orders"", they didn't even inform me that they did it - I had to call them myself the day after the delivery date to find out that they had canceled the order! Multiple calls on the delivery day to check on status were not answered.
Their inconsiderateness gave me no time to make other arrangements and now my mother will receive her flowers three days late (hope ProFlowers is better than this place!). Not only that, the woman I spoke with begrudgingly apologized, only after I explained why it sucks that my mother wasn't getting her flowers. Ever heard of customer service lady? Clearly, they are very picky about the customers they choose to service. My advice, unless you plan on picking it up yourself and/ or calling to confirm orders, don't bother. As for me - never again.
