Initially, I was pretty impressed by the detailed website and choices offered at Flowers by Billy. I moved away from NC a few years ago but my parents still live there so I thought I'd give a local place some business by ordering a Mother's Day arrangement from here. Big mistake. Not only did they void my order that day ""because there were too many orders"", they didn't even inform me that they did it - I had to call them myself the day after the delivery date to find out that they had canceled the order! Multiple calls on the delivery day to check on status were not answered. Their inconsiderateness gave me no time to make other arrangements and now my mother will receive her flowers three days late (hope ProFlowers is better than this place!). Not only that, the woman I spoke with begrudgingly apologized, only after I explained why it sucks that my mother wasn't getting her flowers. Ever heard of customer service lady? Clearly, they are very picky about the customers they choose to service. My advice, unless you plan on picking it up yourself and/ or calling to confirm orders, don't bother. As for me - never again. Billy's has been the florist of choice for every occassion for my family. They are always able to provide just what you want in a price range that fits your wallet. They can walk you through the options available or you can just say make it beautiful and trust that it will be an arrangement you will be more than satisfied with. \r \r They are also highly utilized, by the community -- so plan ahead. Otherwise you may hear that they cannot assist you because of all of the events they booked. more
