Review content:
I visited with group of 9 on a Tuesday night. It started well as we visited the bar area for drinks while we waited for others in our party. We were seated and things started off ok. Then it went horribly wrong. Aparently on this day, they were terribly understaffed. It was explained by the waitress, when we were frustrated and irritated that despite the few customers in the restaurant, we still hadn't received our food, "sorry we're short staffed". We found out after another 45 minutes of waiting that there was no cook, the owner was cooking and there were only 2 servers for the entire restaurant. OK. everyone is entitled to a bad day. Unfortunately, we were not treated well by our server and she didn't handle our concerns professionally. Our group went from being happy and patient to irritated and hungry. Sadly, even after a nearly 2 hour wait, when the food did come out, some of the orders were wrong, and I never got my entree. It went from bad to worse when we asked to see the owner... I'll spare you that. I believe this was an off night. The food that was delivered was good. I did like the atmosphere. To be fair, maybe when they are fully staffed, this would be a good choice. However, you may not know this little tidbit until after you've waited an hour and a half for your food.
