Review content:
I heard about this place from a friend, so I'm always looking for a good authentic pizza pie.\r
I placed an order to go right at the counter and the man said it would be 15 minutes, and, it was only 15 minutes.\r
A red flag went up immediately, because what I ordered was a medium pizza with fresh garlic and tomatoes.\r
Typically, a GOOD homemade authentic pie is going to be at least 25 minutes or more to make and bake.\r
There was just something really lacking with the pizza. It just didn't seem fresh or flavorful in any sense of the word. I really couldn't even taste the garlic, even though I could see it, so I guess it was cut days ago and the flavor was gone. The sauce and dough was something one could buy at a grocery store and put together at home.\r
I also ordered a Caesar salad and Bruschetta.\r
The Bruschetta was fabulous in flavor and consistancy. The bread rounds were served separate and a hearty container of the topping was given to me. This was nice so that when I got home, the bread rounds were not soggy.\r
The Caesar salad was pathetic to say the least. A very small styrofoam container held the lettuce, store bought croutons and grated parmasean cheese. I expect fresh homemade croutons and shredded parmasean cheese and salad dressing made with real anchovies and garlic and not paste from a tube.\r
Everything cost me $21.75\r
I won't be going back.
