I love Houston's. After our first visit, it immediately became our GoTo spot for celebrating deals or schmoozing new clients. Honestly, I'll look for any excuse to visit Houston's, it's just that good of an experience. The first thing you notice at Houston's is the incredible design of the building. It has an open ceiling which reveals wood beams that reach outward and upward over a lake. A glass partition is the only barrier between diners and the waterfront. A pathway leads out to a dock and I witnessed nearby residents arriving in their boat (hell yeah!) The kitchen is open and reminiscent of Hell's Kitchen with lots of cooks buzzing about. And the food is always fresh and delicious. Beware, popular dishes sometimes run out -- like their to-die-for NY strips. Overall, a wonderful dining experience with upscale food in a casual, yet tremendous, setting.
