When I initially contacted College Hunks Hauling Junk of Nashville, I was told I couldn't be given a final price for the job until they were actually at my home and saw what things that needed to be hauled away. I told them I needed a ballpark estimate to know whether or not it was worth having them come out. The man quoted me something like $79 as their lowest price and $139 as the next price up.
Once the guys arrived, they quoted me $179, when all I needed was to have one couch and one loveseat taken to Goodwill. One of the guys offered me a coupon, which was fine. I was told they would take the things to Goodwill and mail me a receipt. I never received that receipt I wanted to use for a tax write-off. So, I was overcharged and did not receive the service I was contracted to get.
Another thing I did not like was that they put their company signs in my neighborhood, without asking if it was OK to do that. I was extremely displeased with the experience.
