Review content:
I wouldn't recommend CarStar to anyone! I can't believe how long it took for them to repair my car and the delay in returning my phone calls. I think 3.5 weeks is a bit long for fixing a door and rear quarter panel but maybe I am wrong.\r \r The worst part is, they didn't fix everything and actually broke things on the car.\r \r 1) The driver?s side interior door handle was pulled loose and several trim pieces on the rear deck have snaps broken off and now rattle when the radio is on or when I go over a bump. On the outside, the scratched a trim piece around the rear window where they had to cut out the rear quarter panel.\r \r 2) I now have three service (check engine, light bulb, and airbag) indicators on inside of the car. How does the air bag light come on after the accident when they weren't deployed and you were struck in the rear wheel? At one point, a representative actually insinuated that I lied about the lights not being on prior to dropping off the car! I was told that I couldn't pick up my car until I paid $100 diagnosis fee, which was on top of my deductible! They held my car hostage until I paid for them to figure out what they broke!!!!\r \r 3) During the accident, I slid quite a distance sideways causing some suspension damage and I now have a loud clunk in the front when I go over a bump and the car can't be aligned. However, CarStar insists that the clunk in the suspension existed prior to the accident and the car can't be aligned due to the broken strut mount. I explained to them the car was aligned fine prior to the accident and asked them to explain to me how a car that was align fine prior to an accident can no longer be aligned because of prior damage/wear on the vehicle.\r \r Needless to say, I am less than happy with the service and my car was not returned to its pre-accident state!\r \r Steer clear unless you are looking for sub-standard work, poor communication, and an overall frustrating experience.\r \r Pros: Excellent sales pitch up front Cons: delivering on promises
