We had reservations for 7:15, but were not seated for nearly a half an hour. We had to wait with all of the other unhappy, over-crowded, standing guests in the small entrance area with no seating. We were all subject to the freezing cold air and wind each time the front door opened. We were finally seated by a overly hurried hostess and were greeted by our waitress within 5 minutes. Let s just say that she was not a joy to be around either. We immediately sensed her discontent and tension. We ordered our drinks and waited 30 minutes for 2 pieces of bread and no butter. We had to ask for the butter and were brought 2 small pads, which took another 5 minutes to get. After finally ordering our dinner, it took over 2 hours for our food to arrive and it was served cold. My husband ordered a steak with potatoes and asparagus. The steak and potatoes were cold and the asparagus was missing. The waitress returned to the kitchen to get the asparagus and returned with a dish of lukewarm (wait for it.....) asparagus as well. I ordered a steak and lobster tail. The lobster tail was warm, not hot and my steak was cold to the touch. We sent our food back. After a few bites, we just couldn't eat the cold food. What a disaster! The waitress was just lackluster and vacant when we spoke with her. No one made any attempt to alter the bill, console us or even show any concern at all. She simply stated that the kitchen was backed up and that they had overbooked for the night. We paid $147 for food we did not eat. The 20% gratuity was added onto our bill though. (OF COURSE) The waitress looked bothered as if she did not want to be there the entire time we dealt with her. We will NEVER eat there again. Overpriced for poor service and cold food!!!! Who knows what the food really tastes like when it s hot!!!! HORRIBLE!!!\r \r The waitress also explained to us that the normal ticket turn around is usually an hour for food. So, two hours was not that bad considering how busy they were!!!! I shouldn't have to wait an hour for cold food either!!!!!\r \r We were there on Valentine s Day and noticed an entire dining room of not-so-happy diners trying to make the best of their evening. It was all around ridiculous. NEVER NEVER AGAIN!!
