I had read and heard wonderful things about Nook, and for once, I?m glad the compliments were warranted. As noted in the numerous reviews, Nook is located in a rather nondescript shopping center ? the only sign indicating the locale of the restaurant being a large blue arrow. Once inside, you are transported into a rather modern, cozy oasis where simple comfort foods reign. Service was friendly, informative and attentive. And most importantly, the food was well prepared from fresh, delicious ingredients.\r \r My friend and I shared a plate of homemade french fries ? reminds me of In-n-Out fries but better and crispier, served with a yummy garlic aioli. For entrees, I tried the Chicken Paillard (chicken breast pounded flat, served atop garlicky mashed potatoes and sauteed rapini, with a lemon based sauce and capers) which was quite simple and delicious. My friend had the brown rice stir fried with veggies and tofu ? he apparently gets this every time so I guess he really really likes it! We shared a bottle of muscadet, that as promised, was very dry and crisp, and not sweet. It accompanied the food quite well. Dessert was the brownie with vanilla gelato ? perhaps I was too full, but the dessert didn?t wow me.\r \r All in all, I really enjoyed this place and will have to return to taste the other lovely sounding offerings on the menu.  Prices were pretty affordable. There is parking in the shopping center.\r Pros: Wonderful Simple, Yummy Food; Affordable; Friendly, Efficient Service
