Review content:
There are several important things to know about the Castaway. First, this is maybe the third or fourth incarnation of the restaurant. It's burned down under several times in my lifetime alone. Somebody always rebuilds it and recreates it with the same decor as before. And they usually charge a lot more money for the subpar food than the previous owner. That's the cycle. \r

The reason to go there is not for the food or even the appetizers necessarily, but for the drinks and the view. \r

Yes, it is a Valley view, so in that sense it does not compare to what you'll get at any of the Windows locations or Yamashiro. But it's a nice valley view and the outside firepits add a romantic touch. Go for dinner somewhere else and come here afterward for the view and drinks.
Pros: amazing valley view, good drinks
Cons: way too overpriced, poor food quality
