My dad has several chronic illnesses.......he has been unhappy with the care he has received....some of the nurses seem ok. Just recently the first of Feb ....the hospital has it on record and I also informed them the night he was admitted that they would need to contact one of his daughter's. The day they released him myself and my sister were at work. It was cold and raining. The nurse contacted his granddaughter and said they were sending him home in a taxi did he have a way to get into the house. They did not call or leave a message with either daughter. The granddaughter left work to pick him up....the nurse did not give an option. It wa pick him up or we send him home. As his primary contact person and daughter I contacted hospital admin......and was informed it was a courtesy they offered. When his granddaughter spoke to them....it sounded forced not a courtesy. The admin had it in her hospital he would not have a way home until one of the daughters got off from work.
