I love getting my hair done by Lula, she is fabulous! I've been going to her for years now and can't even think of going to anyone else. Sometimes I come in with crazy ideas, like chopping my long curly hair into a pixie cut and she always provides constructive feedback on what will and will not look good for my hair type and face shape. I also like to play around with color - nothing crazy, but I've been blone, super dark and everything in between - each time Lula has done a great job nailing the color and style I'm going for! \r

would I call this place upscale - no. It's newer - established in 2008 so it may seem a little upscale, but I find It's a nice relaxing atmopshere. \r
are the prices here high - in my opinion you get what you pay for, so no. \r
How to stay stylish in a down economy - I've gone back to a more natural color and highlight so that I can extend the time between my visits.
Pros: service is great, color is wonderful, stylist listens
