COMING FROM THE EAST COAST, IN MY OPINION YOU CAN NOT FIND A GOOD SLICE OF PIZZA IN AZ. I STUMBLED UPON THIS PIZZA WINE CAFE CALLED 'CRUST' , AND AFTER EATING THEIR 'PIZZA RUSTICA', I AM THINKING 2008 IS GOING TO BE A GREAT YEAR! ITS A DIFFERENT TAKE ON A SLICE OF PIZZA BUT THE FLAVOR IS UNREAL. THE 'RUSTICA' IS AN OVER-SIZED THIN CRUST PIZZA SLICE AND CAN BE MADE ANYWAY YOU LIKE IT. CRUST MAKES 'MEDIUM CRUST' SQUARE PIES WHICH IS FOR ME SIMILAR TO A THIN NY SICILIAN AND A VERY COOL TAKE ON PIZZA! THE CONCEPT BEHIND CRUST IS WELL AHEAD OF ITS TIME - HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF A CHICKEN PARMIGIAN ROLLATINI OR DESERT PIZZA??? YEAH, ME EITHER. BUT LET ME TELL YOU.... DELICIOUS. MY DATE ENJOYED THE 'SPINACH SALAD' WHICH CAME WITH STRAWBERRIES AND A DELICIOUS RASBERRY VINIGRETTE. THE SALADS ARE SERVED IN THEIR HOMEMADE BREAD OR 'CRUST' BOWL. MAKE SURE YOU EAT THE CRUST BECAUSE THE FLAVOR IS FIMILIAR YET REMARCKABLE. FROM ONE YANKEE FAN TO ANOTHER - THIS IS HOME BASE GUYS! CHECK IT OUT. OH AND TRY THAT DESERT PIZZA - UNREAL!!!
