This is my favorite restaurant for splurging in Charlotte. If I want a fabulously delicious meal and have the money to buy it, this is where I go. Excellent for romantic dates and for special occasions. The seafood is all phenomenal, especially the appetizers. (I don't eat any meat except seafood, but I hear the pulled pork is to die for.) The drink menu is quite impressive (I'm a bartender, so I rarely say this), and the desserts are exquisite-- my favorite is warm chocolate cake with homemade coconut ice cream, warm stewed fruit (plantains, I think?), spun sugar, and drizzled chocolate sauce. The service is some of the best I've had in Charlotte-- very attentive, but never invasive. Love this place!
