Review content:
Decided to try Oceanic for the first time tonight- it was a mistake. Placed an order for two- two entrees, an order of spring rolls, and dumplings. Nothing extraordinary for 6pm on a Sunday night. Upon checking out, I was asked for a tip amount which I gave even though now, I disagree with giving a tip before your food even arrives. My receipt said 45-60 min like it does for every restaurant and so, we waited...and waited...and waited. After an hour and a half, I contacted with Eat24 through their chat service and was assured that my food was on it's way. So, we waited....some more. IT TOOK 2 HOURS for our food to arrive with no explanation or apologies from the driver. When we opened it, we found it was cold and soggy from one of the entrees spilling in the bag and NO RICE! So, we had to wait another 20 minutes to eat while we whipped up our own batch in the rice cooker. The food was edible, but nothing at all worth mentioning or ordering again....or waiting 2 hours for. We won't be back. I'll give Uncle Chen's my business instead; our regular go-to place for Chinese. Better food, better service.
