Oceanic Restaurant

We ordered: - Garlic eggplant: tasteless, you can taste the garlic. It's basically an eggplant. - Mango Beef: it was pretty good. - Garlic Scallops: the scallops were cooked to perfection and the sauce was good. - Chow Mein vegetables: tasted good. - Got a free coupon for crab meat rangoon: OMG! those were delicious! They were the highlight of the meal. Would definitely order them next time! In conclusion the place it's pretty good for some Chinese take out/delivery nothing fancy or gourmet but the ingredients taste fresh and well cooked! more

Decided to try Oceanic for the first time tonight- it was a mistake. Placed an order for two- two entrees, an order of spring rolls, and dumplings. Nothing extraordinary for 6pm on a Sunday night. Upon checking out, I was asked for a tip amount which I gave even though now, I disagree with giving a tip before your food even arrives. My receipt said 45-60 min like it does for every restaurant and so, we waited...and waited...and waited. After an hour and a half, I contacted with Eat24 through their chat service and was assured that my food was on it's way. So, we waited....some more. IT TOOK 2 HOURS for our food to arrive with no explanation or apologies from the driver. When we opened it, we found it was cold and soggy from one of the entrees spilling in the bag and NO RICE! So, we had to wait another 20 minutes to eat while we whipped up our own batch in the rice cooker. The food was edible, but nothing at all worth mentioning or ordering again....or waiting 2 hours for. We won't be back. I'll give Uncle Chen's my business instead; our regular go-to place for Chinese. Better food, better service. more

Order from here plenty of times. Food is good but the service or at least the delivery guy is very rude. After paying the guy the amount, with a tip, the guy counts the money and shakes his head. Then replies, " gas is very expensive you know. Like hinting me for a bigger tip! I never had complaints about a tip. Hell, i dont need to give ish if i really wanted to. LOST ME AS A CUSTOMER............ more

On September 12th, I was careless again to order from this place - they did not deliver order in it's entirety first two times. This time they just did not deliver the order. "Approximate delivery time" was stated as "45-60 minutes", I called and cancelled after almost 1 hour 20 minutes. more

I ordered in this restaurant four times. First time - they forgot the item. Just forgot. I had to call back, they delivered it, I had to wait another 30 minutes. more

I had the Spicy Chicken with Fresh Basil, Kung Pao Chicken, Pork Mu Shu, Sauteed Asparagus, and Pork Potstickers. They gave me a free dish of garlic noodles since I ordered online. Everything was fresh and tasty and not greasy at all. I noticed they forgot a dish when I got home so I called them. it was promptly delivered. I would definitely go back and even get the free delivery. Online ordering was nice too. more

Normally I really like this restaurant but I ordered several soups and they had so much pepper in them they weren't edible I had to throw them out. You could see a layer of pepper coating thr bottom of container. I'm not joking when I say they put several tablespoons in each container. more

I am very appreciated about their good quality food, especially when you ask for less salt less oil and not overcooked vegetables, they will actually do that for you. more
