I have a 2002 Toyota Avalon which made a high pitched squealing noise when I turned on the A/C. I brought it to the Toyota dealership where I was told I would need new belts and other parts to stop the noise. The total cost would roughly be $400. My fathers friend recommend getting a second opinion at Arctic Freeze, a shop he has used in the past and has been happy with. I took it there for a second opinion and they told me my belts were fine and they just needed to be tightened. The total cost was $15, the noise stopped and the A/Cs been fine for the past 3 months. I definitely trust Arctic Freeze and will recommend my friends to go there if they have any A/C problems.
