Review content:
I hired Cambridge for a unique situation and the agency's owner, Ingrid, made me feel like her team could fill my need. Unfortunately that did not happen. Ingrid consistently missed the deadlines she set for herself and I had to keep prodding her to send me additional candidates. She was able to place a temporary nanny for my family, but I was not satisfied and indicated that I was very interested in talking to more candidates for the long term. It took a month for her to arrange an interview with a candidate I'd consider for the long-term.\r
\r
Moreover, I never felt like Ingrid understood what I wanted in a nanny, so the majority of candidates she presented were not at all a fit. She knew the basic requirements, but never tried to get an understanding of the qualities our family needed in a nanny for it to be a good fit. When I confronted her on this issue, she dismissed those as “soft skills” that were not very important. While she will tell you in the beginning of your search that selecting a nanny is a very personal decision, she really did not seem to grasp that personality is a huge factor in the nanny search process.\r
\r
Untimately I identified a permanent nanny through my personal network. Ingrid offered to give me a partial refund since I was so dissatisfied. That was two months ago and I am still waiting for the refund.
