awful.. the absolute worst company to do business with. i got hooked up with them because i bought a new home comfort system from home depot and home depot sent them out to install it. from the get-go i had issues.. they gave me a rebate form for srp.. i tried for 3 months to get a signed rebate form from them to turn into aps so that i can get my $600 rebate.. well, i was unsuccessful, because by the time i got the attention of the higher-ups in ahm, my rebate opportunity had expired, the form had to be submitted within 90 days of installation. just like the ex-employee below wrote.. i was at the bottom of the priority list because my system is under warranty.. so when my a/c went out over 4th of july weekend 2 years ago, i was left high and dry. we had family in town, with an extra dog in the house... we ended up with 6 people, a baby, and 2 dogs in a house with no a/c in the middle of a phoenix summer.. it was over 100 in my house for more than 3 days. we had to get rid of most of the food in the cabinets, one of our refrigerators quit working because it never got a rest. the solution that ahm offered was a $50 a night credit toward a hotel room... on a holiday weekend for 7 people and 2 dogs!!! i realize after reading the former employee's comment below that they probably just didn't want to pay a technician to work on a holiday weekend. as soon as my ""prepaid maintenance plan"" is up.. i will never see orangutan home services again. every time they come out (twice a year) for this prepaid maintenance, we have to fix something. they always turn our condensation drain up, so that it fills with water and eventually shuts the system off for safety, because the water cannot drain. we have to go back out (every time they leave) and flip it back down, so that it drains. this last time (in dec) they came out and pealed off the tape that seals up the intake duct.. then the guy tried to charge me $75 to reseal it.. and gave me a flyer about poor air quality and babies. hoping to sell me on a reseal because it might put my daughters health at risk. my boyfriend got home, went out there and resealed in it minutes.. he said that it wasn't like that 3 days earlier when he took the door off to get the filter out and clean it. they are awful.. please, please, please do not hire these people!!
