After reading all these great reviews, I had high hopes for these guys. \r \r My first interaction with them didn't set a good tone. When they arrived, I explained that the building manager asked us to not prop all the doors since it was very cold outside. Tony's response was, ""Well, we need them open."" I explained that I understood, but I was trying to be considerate and respectful since they asked. Tony responded, ""what do you care, you're moving out?"" I again explained that they are my friends and they asked me for that favor. They propped the door anyway.\r \r The work went along fine for the most part, I tried to just forget about that and move on. There were a few items that they said needed to be boxed better, so they boxed them, and only at the signing of the bill did I find out that it was $40 DOLLARS worth of materials! Yikes! If you go with them, and they say they need to package stuff, ask how much it will cost before you agree!\r \r Once we unloaded at my new house, I noticed that one of my pieces had been scratched. When I brought it to Tony's attention, he denied it, saying it was like that. (which is impossible since it was new. Plus, from up on the 2nd floor of my house, i heard them drag it across the basement floor (it was made of metal and so very noisy). It really bothered me that he was so blaze about it. He should have apologized, admitted to it, and credited me, or something, but instead he kept trying to make it MY fault.\r \r Lastly, when it came time to settle the bill, he wrote the incorrect start time, saying they arrived at 8:00, when really it was 8:30. He fixed it when I pointed it out. It was also at the time of signing the bill that he told me they were charging me for transportation to and from my house. They should have told me at booking that they charge you that time. It gave me the feeling that he was just trying to get as much money out of the deal as he could. \r \r This was my first experience with a professional company, and I have to say that I was really disappointed. If you go with them, make sure you know exactly what you will be paying for, and keep an eye on the time so that you are not charged more than necessary. I would NEVER call this company again.
