After allowing two sweet talking Bio Guard "techs" into my home and feeling pressured into buying a pest control service that I didn't need the techs proceeded to bad mouth my neighbor who didn't want their service. A month later my husband lost his job and we had to leave our home. Bio Guard refused to let us out of our "contract". They encouraged me to keep putting our account on "hold" and then after each hold period ended they would contact me and harass me about completing the rest of my contract. Yes, I realize I signed a contract to have X amount of treatments performed. But considering the fact that we had just lost the home that was supposed to be treated, you would think they would be a little more sympathetic and let us out of our contract. Finally after more than a year of being harassed by Bio Guard I finally agreed to have our current home (which is a rental) treated one last timer as a way to get out of our contract. It was agreed that once our current home was treated and the payment was completed, I would receive a rebate (that was actually more than the treatment price) debit card in the mail and would me let out of any future commitments to Bio guard. Bio Guard then proceeded to go back and treat our OLD HOME and sent me an invoice for it. When I contacted them about it they told me to go ahead and pay for that treatment and that they would treat our current home for "free". I wasn't born yesterday. If I paid for the treatment, it would be paying for my current home to be treated while the owners of my old home would be getting the "free treatment". Every person I've ever been able to get a hold of at Bio Guard is incompetent and lacks basic communication skills. Their sales people are pushy, unprofessional and rude. Their treatments are not effective and their customer service staff isn't accommodating. I have never been so put off by a company. I now go out of my way to tell people how strongly I dislike Bio Guard.
