After getting takeout here almost once a week for a year, I was so offended by their management I will never go back. This past week my wife and I arrived to pick up our order. When we do, we normally go into the bar for a drink. Despite the ""interesting"" crowd, the karaoke is sometimes amusing. Upon placing our drink order, the staff notified us that there had been a slight error on their part last week on our takeout order. They had undercharged us by about 9 dollars, and they wanted us to pay that $9 now on top of our bill for this week. My wife and mother in law hadn't even noticed the discrepency when they had picked up last week's order. The bartender was polite, and even appeared uncomfortable to be asking for the $9. Although I found this a tad odd, I agreed to pay. On the way out, my wife alerted the manager that we found the policy of us paying a week later for their error a little strange. We told him that we come in every week, and he responded rudely that this is their policy. When we said that we probably wouldn't return, that was met with a childish ""fine"". I worked in food service during college and high school, and I have never heard of a policy of waiting for frequent customers to come back, to then charge them for an error you made. The policy is absurd, and their rude reaction to a frequent customer was even worse. I will never return to an establishment that values their customers so little. It's unfortunate, because the food is above average, and the restaurant is very close to my home.
