Editorial review from Citysearch 1/2/2014

Stopped by since my co-worker recommended it. Hands down, best Chinese food since I've moved to the area from NY. Take out is fast and the food is always hot and freshly made. I come here at least once or twice a week now for the chicken wings and crab rangoons. Try it, trust me. more

Rude, Offensive, Management 4/16/2012

After getting takeout here almost once a week for a year, I was so offended by their management I will never go back. This past week my wife and I arrived to pick up our order. When we do, we normally go into the bar for a drink. Despite the ""interesting"" crowd, the karaoke is sometimes amusing. Upon placing our drink order, the staff notified us that there had been a slight error on their part last week on our takeout order. They had undercharged us by about 9 dollars, and they wanted us to pay that $9 now on top of our bill for this week. My wife and mother in law hadn't even noticed the discrepency when they had picked up last week's order. The bartender was polite, and even appeared uncomfortable to be asking for the $9. Although I found this a tad odd, I agreed to pay. On the way out, my wife alerted the manager that we found the policy of us paying a week later for their error a little strange. We told him that we come in every week, and he responded rudely that this is their policy. When we said that we probably wouldn't return, that was met with a childish ""fine"". I worked in food service during college and high school, and I have never heard of a policy of waiting for frequent customers to come back, to then charge them for an error you made. The policy is absurd, and their rude reaction to a frequent customer was even worse. I will never return to an establishment that values their customers so little. It's unfortunate, because the food is above average, and the restaurant is very close to my home. more

Awesome Food! 10/19/2009

Ate here for the first time on Friday. Food is awesome! The fried rice and appetizers rocked. Apparently they had a karaoke bar night in the lounge so we had a couple drinks there and i was actually drunk enough to sing a tune! Good times!\r \r Pros: Fried rice, karaoke bar, appetizers more

Probably the Best Chinese Food in the Seacoast 10/11/2009

My family and I make it a point to make the half hour drive to dine here at least a couple times a week. We have been to almost all of the Chinese restaurants on the seacoast and Yangtze honestly has the best food around. The food is is always freshly prepared and the prices are extremely reasonable. Some of the dinner value meals are even cheaper than your local McD'd or Burger King! Hands down the best General Gao chicken and crab rangoons, according to our kids! Give this place a try, you won't be dissappointed! James Pros: General Gao Chicken, Lo Mein, Crab Rangoons, Quick Take-Out! Cons: Service can be slow more
