The owners, Sue and Steve, are nice people and Steve knows Apple computers very well. But although they fixed my MacBook, I cannot recommend them. First, my call regarding a status update was not returned after the computer had been in their shop for nearly two weeks. But here's the issue: the machine was returned to me with lots of scratches on the case that were not there when I brought it to them. I started to leave but decided to speak my mind. They said that the scratches were already there and that it could not have been their doing. But I know the condition of my gear, and those scratches were not there when I first visited their shop. Steve latched onto the fact that I use an exterior skin on the machine, saying that they are notorious for damaging more than they protect. Sue claimed the computer looked ""dirty"" when she first saw it, contradicting her statement three weeks prior, when she had commented on its excellent condition for a 2.5 year old laptop. Steve told me which products they use for cleaning and then offered to buff the exterior, but I declined, due both to my souring mood and even more time without my computer. No other attempts at achieving customer satisfaction were attempted. I was offered an apology, but it was insincere at best. If you're in a bind and need your Apple product fixed locally, you don't have many other choices here in Wilmington. But make sure you take exact note of your device's exterior condition at drop-off and compare that to how it looks when you pick it up. Though I'm glad I spent $150 rather than having to buy a new computer, the whole transaction left a sour taste in my mouth. I will not return and I cannot recommend their services.
