This company tried to swindle my dad into buying an entirely new system, after sabotaging his old one. \r My dad's A/C system is 8 years old. It stopped working one day and he called Comfort Experts out to check it. The rep came out around midnight that night, checked around and said there was a short in the outside unit- a new unit would have to be purchased. Another rep came out the next day and tried to sell my dad a $17,000 system. He seemed shady so we sent him away and called another company, Aaron's A/C, for a 2nd opinion. The man from Aaron's looked at the outside unit and told us that wires had been cut-- explains the ""shorted circuit"" I suppose. I had wondered why Comfort Experts would be willing to come out after midnight. Turns out our compressor was the cause of the original problem, the same compressor that had been ""repaired"" by Comfort Experts a mere 3 weeks before it completely stopped working. This whole thing seems like a scam to me. Tell everyone you know to never, ever go to this company!
