I took a few articles of clothing to be altered about 5 weeks before I had to leave for an international trip. She said that they would be ready in 2 weeks. When the day came that I had to pick them up, she handed them to me and told me I was all set. I told her that I wanted to try them on just to make sure they fit because I didn't want to make another trip out... I lived 30 minutes away. She all of a sudden had a look of panic come across her face and her response was, ""Well, if they don't fit, I can't fix it anyway because I am leaving to go out of town tomorrow."" I tried on a dress, and nothing was done to it. A jacket that she did actually alter hem was falling apart. Straps to my daughters shirt were unevenly shortened. My others daughters top was taken in too much... I couldn't even button it. I asked her where another dress of mine was, and her response was, ""Oh, that is your dress... I didn't have time to do it."" Also, she said she would custom make a dress for my youngest daughter... I already had the top and bottom which I need sewn together to make into a dress... but that was never done as well. While there,a girl walked in with a dress, and she said, ""no I can't take it."" Also, another set of customers walked in, and she told me to just take everything and go. She probably didn't want me to start a commotion and risk losing business from other people. I was told that she is very reputable and does a fantastic job. She has absolutely no professional manner, and basically lied to my face saying that everything was done hoping that I would just take the stuff and go. I leave for my trip in 11 days, and now have to find someone else to do this and hopefully they can rush everything. I truely think she was trying to scam me... by taking my money and not doing any work!!! The only reason I gave her one star id because it wouldn't let me give her no stars! My bit of advice... DO NOT GO TO TAILORING BY KIM!!!
