Review content:
I decided to sign a contract with this florist for my wedding flowers based on first impressions. She was not the best offer I got financially speaking, but she agreed to meet with me on a Saturday morning (important for a working bride) and seemed very attentive. After I signed the contract and sent my deposits, the professionalism ended. She made no attempts to contact me throughout the months before my wedding. When I emailed her and asked to meet 3 weeks before the big day, she let me know she would not make time to meet with me on weekends, and that it was too late to make changes to my order as she had already ordered my flowers and the order could not be changed. I was upset, as I hadn't spoke with her in months and wanted to make minor changes to how things were arranged at the reception. This caused a lot of stress with my wedding so close, and adding to it was the fact that this florist is not prompt at returning emails and is often not available when calling her shop. I made the decision to find a new florist only 3 weeks before my wedding, giving up my $500 deposit with the flower girl. I'm glad I did, I found a florist who provided me with everything at a FRACTION of the cost, and I ended up saving money despite the lost deposit. This new florist informed me that flower destributors are very willing to make changes to orders up to one week prior to the event date, CONTRARY to what the flower girl told me 3 1/2 weeks before mine. The icing on the cake was when I had to threaten the Flower Girl with a law suit 1 1/2 months after my wedding in order to get my $300 vase deposit back after she repeatedly lied to me about having sent it. Please consider this before signing with this florist. She caused me much stress not only right before my wedding but afterwards also. There are many other PROFESSIONAL florists out there to chose from.\r PS-Please note that one of the two 5-star ratings on this site came from Richelle, the Flower Girl herself... Pros: Can't think of any. Cons: Over-priced, very unprofessional, slow to respond to emails/calls, poor flower quality.
