Review content:
Up until today, I would take my mother to this restaurant 2-3 per week. We would generally go for breakfast. Every now and then the omelettes and scrambled eggs would be brown and rubbery. If that constitutes burned or not, I don't know, but what I do know is, it is unacceptable. Today, the omellete was a very dark brown on the inside where it folds but the rest was ""ok"". Thankfully my mother's eggs were fine. I decided to eat the omelette and just leave the brown portion on the plate. I told the waitress ""if this continues I will take a picture and post it to Urbanspoon and other sites like it"". The waitress was very nice and said she would tell her boss. The owner of Rosie's came over and instead of saying ""I'm sorry, we'll make sure your eggs are right from now on"". Noooo, this idiot had to argue with me. I told him ""WE WILL NOT be coming back to this restaurant or his other restaurant ""Apple Creek"", which also is in Aurora. He then said ""don't ever come back"". Geez. I just told him we were never coming back to this restaurant. One other thing this restaurant and Apple Creek does is they will sometimes cook scrambled eggs on the grill in a little pile. The eggs will be brown and rubbery on the bottom side and runny and under cooked on the top side. That's just plain lazy.
Mistakes will happen. You apologize and you do your best to make sure it does not happen again. You don't act like this restaurant owner. By the way, I am not complaining that the cheese on my omelette was brown, that's typical. It is/was eggs each time. How do you even serve burned or brown scrambled eggs when you see it. Ohh, I can answer that. The owner tells them too. I wish I took a picture of todays omelette.
Two decent restaurants for breakfast in the Denver area are:
