This is a tough one because the quality of the doctor I have is the only reason I stay. I have seen comments about Dr. Susan Isbey that I totally agree with, she is thorough, caring and professional.\r \r I would award 5 stars to Dr. Isbey and her staff (Nancy, her nurse is terrific also).\r \r I would give 0 stars to the facility. They have a very inefficient method for making appointments and their staff is often rude. They do not employ email and they often do not answer the phone. You have to leave a message which you are never certain anyone ever receives. If they do receive it someone MAY call you and of course if you are not home you get the message after hours. Then you have to call again ad nauseum. I would send a fax so that you have a documented record of your needs. It's not the doctor's fault, it's the totally out of touch administration. Not a very effective way to run a medical facility. They need to do some housecleaning over there unless their tactics are deliberate to ensure only the really tenacious patients ever get any care. If that's the case I would advise finding a different facility.\r \r 4/7/2010 Update\r When I call the facility these days I am finding that someone answers the phone right away and they are more helpful than in the past. They now connect you right away to your doctor's nurse via an answering machine where you can leave a message for your doctor. This is definitely an improvement. I now have a reasonable expectation that my rare call will be heard the same day by the nurse and I have a great deal of confidence that I will contacted when time allows. \r \r I have been with this medical center for many years. I do not intend to change my doctor for as long as I live in this area. She is the best doctor I have ever had and that goes for her team also. Pros: Fantastic doctor (Dr.Isbey) and nurses (Dr. Isbey's) Cons: Inefficient administrative methods (see update)
