Review content:
I have been to Grazti several times and each experience is a little different. The atmosphere is amazing; probably my favorite out of all the restuarants in Ann Arbor. The prices are too high for the quality of food you get. If you decide you are going to come here I would definately do the whole dinner experience (drinks, appetizer, salad, dessert, etc.) I wouldn't try to conserve your money and only get dinner because you will find it not to be worth your money. The insalata caprese is a great salad btw. I have found thier salmon to be better than most places and the veal pretty good. Chicken Marsala is decent as well but a bit too seasoned. You are served bread before your meal as well which is pretty tasty. For those who like eating lots of food this is NOT the restuarant for you! Be prepared for European/rest of the world other than the USA-sized portions. They have always given me enough food to the point where I am reasonablely full, but your stomach wil l most definitly not be stretched.\r
I recommend requesting dessert in La Dolce Vita (high-class dessert place connected to Gratzi) after you finish your meal. There is an executive pastry chef that makes all the desserts and they are quite satisfying, although very expensive. You can also get specialty dessert drinks such as coffees with liquers.\r

On a BAD note... The wait staff have never gone out of their way to be pleasant to me or any of the people I come with, they do not make you want to come back for their ""cheerful personalities"" at all. Overall food is good, but too overpriced, salad not included with entree, food portions generally small for USA standards, and somewhat hectic to get to if you are driving there.\r
\r
REGARDLESS I reccommed anyone who likes Italian food and wants to go somewhere nice to at least try it once. \r
\r
Overall I wont go out of my way to go there, but if the occasion arises I do not mind one bit, plus it tends to be cheaper than the Chop House.
Pros: Pretty good food, amazing ambience!
Cons: Unfriendly staff, over-priced, bothersome to get to.
