This is a great vet office. They are empathetic, reasonable in their pricing, and most importantly, they really know their stuff. I've brought both cats and dogs to AAH and I've always been pleased with the experience. I rescued a dog that was quite nearly dead from worms and they helped to bring her back to health. They were quite sensitive when I brought my boyfriend's elderly but otherwise reasonably ok dog in for an ear infection. They took very good care of both of my cats. And I hate to say this, but it's one of very few veterinary offices/hospitals where I don't feel like I was taken advantage of. There are some local clinics/animal hospitals that will give you poor advice that costs alot, misdiagnosis after misdiagnosis, bill after bill. This has never happened to me at AAH. The only drawback of this place is that it's very, very busy - expect to wait. But to me, it's a sign of a very good doctor who's in demand, so I don't mind. I just veg out a bit and say hi to the various dogs and cats in the waiting area. Who ever complained about the ""ambiance"" of this place should get a life. It's a veterinary clinic, not a restaurant or nightclub. Who cares about the ambiance?
