My experiences here can be summed up by one incident (of many) in particular. When I asked which of the desserts were housemade, I was told ""all of them"". Like it was a stupid thying for me to ask. The desserts were on a tiered cart in the dining room. When I mentioned that I had seen the exact same desserts in other Italian restaurants I was told, ""there are no other real Italian restaurants in the Detroit area"". When I pointed out that some of the dessert trays said Bindi (a company selling frozen pastries) right on them they acted like I was hallucinating. Unbelievable. I wonder what else they are lying about.
