Review content:
After not getting any answers about my shoe repair after 2 months, I finally dropped in to the store and asked for my shoes back whether they were fixed or not. One pair was done, the other was not. The owner returned the shoes and a refund for the second pair. I took the broken pair to Macy's, where they'll be fixed in 5 days for half the cost.
That's what I'd suggest for all who are tired of waiting, making sure to bring in your claim ticket and credit/debit card you charged the prepayment to.
If you have trouble with this, be ready to file a claim with the Better Business Bureau.
Find a different shop. Two that I've had good luck with are Macy's (downtown Minneapolis) Shoe Repair and Fast Eddie's in Dinkytown. ( I have no business interest in either of those.)
