Review content:
My wife and I discovered this place two months ago and have been back six times. At first glance, Ferrantelli's looks like many other suburban Italian restaurants with high prices, mediocre food, and barely adequate service. Nothing could be further from the truth. Once you step through the door, you're in the hands of professionals. The decor is heavy on marble and fat baby angels, but somehow it works. The waitstaff, though at times overly attentive, know's as much about the food as the chef, a native of Naples with amazing talent. If you're a wine person, there's plenty on the wine list. Corkage is expensive, so don't bring your own. Try the seabass, which is consistently delicious. The only downside is an old guy who strolls from table to table singing (yes, singing)... He's not around often, so we live with it and enjoy everything else.
