Companies like this prey on people who have no where else to turn. The interest rates are as high as 180% APR!
They say they are providing a service but to loan people money they can't afford to pay back at rates that won't allow them to pay it back. Borrow $1000, pay nearly $200 per month for 6 months and at the end of 6 months you owe a balloon payment of nearly what you borrowed, which forces you to take out a new loan or loose your vehicle. They typically offer you 25% of what your vehicle would sell for privately. It is a win win situation that is making people rich taking advantage of people.
These loans are no different than the Pay Day loans that the Arizona people outlawed on a ballot referendum, the people of Arizona need to rise up against these blood suckers and shut them down too.
