Review content:
I'm a bit shocked by the negative review posted in 2006, because my family and I have been going to Gemini since the times immemorial (when it was still Sawaddee's) and we have never waited more than ten minutes for the food (in fact, we prefer to eat there when we are particularly hungry because of their fast service). The decor is simple and tasteful, the seating in booths very comfy and they never blast Muzak or have uncomfortable levels of noise. The place is very popular for both lunch and dinner. The service is graceful and unobtrusive and they have a great vegetarian selection (no fish sauce or other animal ingredients). The portions are definitely big enough for me -- I usually split their lunch into two meals and their dinner into three. My favorites are Panang Curry with tofu and the Tom Ka soup with tofu. Somehow the restaurant didn't make it into the ""romantic"" category, but I suspect it is because it's not a cheesy Italian place with candles. I find it to be very private and cozy without being cloying. I like it a lot more than The Siamese Plate. It's my favorite Asian restaurant in town.
Pros: flavorful food, fast service, attractive decor, quiet ambience for talking, great veg choices
Cons: located in an ugly shopping center next to King Soopers (not their fault ;-))
