The Queen Elizabethpark has landscaped gardens spaced through it making the area next to falls very nice for an afternoon inthe park. Lunch can be had on terraces over looking the falls there but back so you don't get wet.Get Canadian $ at a bank use your credit card for currency exchange as most merchants set their own rates . Save your reciepts stop at the dutyfree shop and get a form to mail in and file for a G.S.T. taxrefund. The best parking is the parking area located behind Cliftonhill on the south side ( turn at the Ripley Museum) . The hotels in the area have very wide price range and just as wide quality of accomendations ( buyer beware read reviews). There are alot family things to do on CliftonHill and places to eat and shop. . There is literaly something for everyone tastes and budget there. Pros: inexpensive, family fun, Romantic Cons: $ exchange rates, parking, taxes
