Review content:
I was under the impression that if I had numerous pieces of mail (like a promotional direct mailer) that I could take the pieces to the post office and they would meter and mail all of the pieces. I took 220 pieces of mail to the lakeway post office and was told that their meter was slow and that the rep could not stamp them himself, that he could sell me the stamps and I would have to stamp them. That's NOTcustomer service. Later, I received 37 pieces of this same mailer back undeliverable because I did a label ""mail merge"" by instructions from a wedding magazine and that merge left off the apartment numbers. I called to explain what happened and asked if I added the apt numbers if they could re-send with no further cost and was RUDELY told that it was my fault and that the post office had fulfilled it's ""end of the bargain"". Again, that's NOT customer service. They could have sympathized and suggested an alternate course of action even if they weren't going to allow me to re-send.\r
