I have never written a review, even for horrible service; however, this place is so terrible I feel the need to warn everyone.\r \r I joined in Aurora and specifically asked about their cancellation policy before I signed up. I was told that you cannot cancel unless you move and there is not a Lady Fitness near you (if there is one near you then you can just transfer your membership). At the time, this was ok with me. \r \r Well, about 6 months later, it turned out that I was moving and there is not a Lady Fitness anywhere in the state. Should be no problem to cancel then, right? WRONG! They told me the numerous documents they needed in order to cancel. Although it seemed ridiculous to send that much paper work just to cancel a gym membership, I sent it in. About 3 weeks later, I recieve a letter in the mail and they have DENIED my cancellation request!\r \r The copies of my utility bills (required to cancel and show proof of new address) have my husband's name on them...this is the reason they gave me as to why they wouldn't cancel my membership. I have done everything they have asked and I still cannot get them to cancel my membership. Every time I have called to discuss the matter, they are extremely rude and unprofessional.\r \r
