I visited on Mother's Day 09 and I was very disappointed. I arrived at my reservation time and I was greeted by the host who informed me that they had to set up and to not get mad and have an attitude. I dismissed this statement because I considered the area even though this statement was very unprofessional.
My family and I was seated and ordered our entree's from the limited menu. When our food arrived in segments the food did not have any flavor at all. The cornbread was very dry and disgusting. It was very hot and dark in the restaurant. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. I thought I was taking my mother to an upscale dining experience however I got low budge bad tasting food. I guess if you are accustomed to good down home southern cooking then this is definately not the place for you because me and my family did not enjoy this dining experience.. Mama Nem need to go back and try it again. Sorry, I trying to support black owned establishments but this one does not have my vote.
