Review content:
I am 99% mtn biker, maybe 1% roadie...and that's a stretch. Full Cycle is the best shop in Boulder for mountain biking. Especially on what bikes/parts/tires work on OUR trails (not smooth California singletrack, or flat midwest trails). Plus great info on local trails, rides, riding in Nederland, etc.\r
\r
Also Full Cycle is THE source for the sickest cruiser bikes in Boulder!\r
\r
Other shops seem to specialize in road bikes, with a bit of attitude to boot, and mtn bikes are an afterthough or just low end. Even when I stop by on my road bike, looking at new road bikes, or just tires or parts, I don't feel pressure, yet still feel like the folks there know a ton about road biking. It's so nice to not have attitude because I don't have a team jersey on or don't road race.\r
\r
Finally I can't put a comment in here without a plug for Maverick bikes... if you are considering a new mtn bike, you have to demo a Maverick from Full Cycle. I think they'll even apply your demo day fees toward a purchase. Take it to Hall Ranch if you don't have a lot of time...otherwise head up to Nederland (and make sure to get directions from the folks at the shop).
Pros: Excellent, very knowledgeable service dept. And quick turnarounds.
Cons: None.
